October 31 Declared "Fiesta Mexicana Day" By City of Chicago

The City of Chicago recently passed a resolution declaring October 31 as "Fiesta Mexicana Day."

To celebrate, a small socially-distanced group will gather at 4806 N. Broadway on October 31 at noon to receive a copy of the resolution from Ald. James Cappleman and Sean Tenner.

Fiesta Mexicana is proud to be recognized by the city for its 41 years of service to the Uptown community as well as being female owned & operated.

Tania D’Agostino, as president of Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant, will receive the honor for the family and staff. The family will also speak to the challenges facing small businesses and restaurants. Additional information on community partnerships with NeighborFoodMeals, Saint Mary’s of the Lake and Lakeview Pantry will be shared.

  1. My office was upstairs from the restaurant 2005-2007. Great lunch steak special with bottomless tortilla chips while waiting.
