Lake Shore Drive & Waveland Proposal Clears Major Hurdle

Revised proposal for Lake Shore Drive & Waveland (City Club Apartments & BKV Group)

After working out issues such as egress, height and parking with the condo board of the New York Private Residences, City Club Apartments is moving forward with plans for the Lake Shore Drive parcel that was originally intended for a second tower back in 1990 that never came to fruition.

According to Ald. Cappleman's development page, City Club Apartments has filed an amendment to the planned development with the city, but will still need to hear feedback from East Lake View Neighbors (ELVN) and the 46th Ward Zoning & Development Committee.

You might recall that the plans were given quite a tweak from the last proposal.
