We'd like to welcome "Drink Happy Thoughts" to Uptown! They will feature coffee from the "Happy Monday Coffee Roasters" headquartered in Kankakee. Read more about them here.
According to their Facebook page, they satisfy both the angelic and devilish side of your palate, with coffee drinks, organic and locally made donuts, healthy concept snacks, fruit bowls, decadent treats, and rotating surprises for your palate.
Of course, at this time, items are only available for take-out.
Excellent; I am so happy to see Uptown coming to life again; I was born @ 4737 N. Broadway in 1937 and it has been through many dark years since then; Now, if they only get the Uptown Theater restored and open again , the rebirth will be complete!!!
