Windy City Ribfest - Independence Day!

Welcome to the first day of the Windy City RibFest! It takes place noon to 10pm on Broadway between Leland and Lawrence.

Admission is a suggested donation of $5, part of which goes to help Business Partners - The Chamber for Uptown continue their programming and promotions in our community.

There will be ribbers from all over the country competing and cooking up a storm! Compare and vote for your favorite. There will also be lots of other food vendors to choose from if ribs aren't your thing.

And there will be music! On the main stage:

• 3pm - COWBOY JUKEBOX, with country hits across the decades.
• 5:30pm - LOW DOWN BRASS BAND, who have performed at the Chicago Jazz Fest and heasdlined at the Montreal Jazz Festival
• 8pm - WEDDING BANNED, part comedy, part cover band, all fun.
