Rubloff Reborn

New and restored pieces of terra cotta are being resintalled on the Rubloff Building (photo by JM)

Hard to believe these are the same pieces of terra cotta that once covered the Rubloff/Majestic Building at Broadway and Leland. Years of grime and neglect had taken their toll but you wouldn't know that now judging by the looks of things. Black granite accents have been added along the base of the building that really make the blue and cream colored tiles pop.

Contrary to what a chronically ill-informed Uptown resident shared online, the terra cotta was restored and is making a triumphant return as we speak.
