Community Meeting On Maryville Demolition Slated For January

From Ald. Cappleman's latest email newsletter:

"The Clarendon/Montrose development is in full swing. Asbestos removal is underway per City and EPA guidelines and demolition has begun at the Maryville/Cuneo buildings.

As with any building demolition that occurs in Chicago, there are many requirements placed on the landowner to ensure that the process is done correctly and in a safe manner so that area residents and their property remains protected.

I will hold a community meeting to further update you on both the process and the timeline for the demolition:

• When: Thursday, January 12 at 7pm
• Where: Clarendon Park Community Center, 4501 N. Clarendon
