Man Missing From Wilson/Sheridan Area; Reward Offered

Original story:  The family of JESUS ORTIZ is asking for your help locating him.

He was last seen by a security camera on Wednesday at 2:40am, leaving his home on the 4500 block of Sheridan and walking north on Sheridan. He was wearing only tan shorts, with no shirt or shoes. He has no identification with him.

He is Hispanic, 6' tall, and weighs approximately 165 lbs. He is 60 years old. He does not speak much English.

His family is frantic to find him. If you can help, please contact Andres Ortiz at 773-xxx-xxxx. Thank you. [Number redacted after Jesus Ortiz was found in December.]

Update: The family is offering $500 to anyone who can give information that leads to his return.

Update: The Chicago Police have issued an alert (posted below). It mentions that Mr. Ortiz can hear, but is unable to communicate. If you have any information, please call 9-1-1 or the SVU Division of the CPD at 312-744-8266.

  1. He is still missing going on almost 3 weeks. Please if anyone knows anything please contact dectectives. We are losing it. We need to bring him home. His family is in desperate needs. There is a reward for $1000
