Wilson Avenue Closed To Vehicles Between Broadway & Clifton 9am-5pm This Week


CTA workers are getting ready to close the old Red Line platform at Wilson and move all passengers to the new platform later this month. As this happens, there will be some work and closures during the coming week and weekend.
  • Wilson Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic 9am-5pm Monday through Wednesday between Broadway and Clifton. Pedestrians will still have access to the sidewalks during that time.

      According to CTA's website, "Eastbound buses will operate via Clark, Lawrence, and Broadway, then resume their normal route on Wilson.

      Westbound buses will operate via Broadway, Lawrence, and Clark to Wilson, then continue their normal route on Clark."
