We joke because we love.  ACE Hardware has helped us out of many jams, on many occasions. Somehow the tiny store manages to stock everything we need, and the customer service is outstanding.  Now that the heavy concrete arch in front of it is gone, we hope more people find out about one of Uptown's "hidden" treasures.
