The Last Piece

This is all that's left of the old North Shore Line concrete elevated tracks built nearly a century ago. It's north of Wilson station and south of Clifton, across Broadway from Gigio's Pizza.

After the CTA builds a new track using 21st century technology (no supports in the middle of the streets!), the old metal tracks, which date back to 1907, will come down as well. Broadway will look totally different in a couple of years.
