Uptown Business Partners is looking for individuals interested in volunteering to work the gates and the beer tents at RibFest which runs from July 5-7 at Lawrence and Broadway.
I sent an e-mail to this address on the 19th, offering my time to work the beer tent and never heard anything back. In the future, it might be nice to provide another point of contact such as a phone number that we can use to follow up on our attempts to volunteer. It kind of sucks to get excited about helping out in some capacity, only to be ignored by the people asking for our help.
