The CTA announced the art that will be installed as part of the recent improvements to the stations on the north red line branch.
You can see a full list here.
Artists DeeDee Morrison and Lynn Basa will be featured at the
Lawrence and
Argyle stops. This will add some much needed color and texture to some otherwise bland stations. Be sure to check out the links for more photos of what you can expect to see soon at each station.

How is the Argyle art being installed? Is it an applied "wrap" (like on buses) or is it going to be a mural (boo) or a bricolage (better).
ReplyDeleteAnd the Lawrence art...looks like something from a thrift store that's been hung up in a basement or garage.
I really enjoy the artwork at Lawrence.
