And Then, The After Parties

And after it's all over, the fun begins:
  • BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON at the National Pastime Theatre, 941 W Lawrence, in the historic Peoples Temple. - Must Close November 10th. Special Election Day Performance November 6th, after the polls close, 9:30pm. Free to anyone with voting slip. "NPT welcomes Bailiwick Chicago to our new Uptown locations presenting the Chicago premier of BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON. In BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, we follow the story of America’s first political maverick. An exhilarating and white-knuckled look at one of our nation’s founding rock stars, the musical recreates and reinvents the life of “Old Hickory,” from his humble beginnings to his days as our seventh Commander-in-Chief. It also asks the question: is wanting to have a beer with someone reason enough to elect him? What if he’s really, really hot? Performances are October 4th through November 10th. Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 6pm. Special Election Night Performance November 6 at 9:30pm. Tickets are available at bailiwickchicago.com."
  • Ald. Cappleman posted:  "I'll be watching the election returns Tuesday night at the Holiday Club (4000 N. Sheridan Road.) If you're in the hood, stop by and join us."
  • Crew [4804 N Broadway} says:  "Whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, we can all agree it will be nice to see an end to all the political advertising!  Come watch the returns at Crew. We'll have them on our 21 screens throughout the bar.  Bring in your proof of voting for a prepaid domestic draft or well cocktail." Facebook details here.
  • According to UU commenters on Facebook, election results will be shown at Big Chicks [5024 N Sheridan] and Driftwood [1021 W Montrose].
