You Can Still Donate School Supplies

Friends of the 46th Ward Schools are still collecting school supplies for kids whose parents are unable to provide them with what they need.  If you want to donate, you can bring items to Ald. Cappleman's office (4544 N Broadway) and they will be distributed.  Here's what they told us

"We polled the principals and have the following suggested items.
  • Stockton School:  Paint, paintbrushes, art paper, construction paper, art quality colored pencils, and anything else that can be used by an art teacher
  • Stewart School:  Flash drives for their science program (holds research for students without paper waste)
  • All schools: Paper towels, Kleenex, and copy paper.  Copy paper is probably the number one request right now.
Thanks so much for all your help!

The Principals would very much like to pass on their gratitude to your readers, as would the Friends of the 46th Ward Schools."
