The Rest Of The Story

There's a blurb with some more details about last week's shooting near Truman College in the "Police Beat" section of the latest Inside Booster newspaper:

Passerby grazed in drive-by shooting.  A 53-year-old man was grazed in the shoulder during an apparent drive-by shooting incident on the 4400 block of North Racine around 5p.m. April 27.  The victim said he was walking along the sidewalk when people suddenly ran past him screaming. The victim ran into Truman College where he found a graze wound on his shoulder, police said.  Police said video taken on the school's surveillance camera showed what appeared to be a passenger in a gray Chevy Monte Carlo firing several shots from the car as the vehicle sped by.  Another gunman who may have been a passenger in that car was seen running from the scene, police said.  The shooting victim was treated at Weiss Hospital, police said.
