More Aldermanic Candidates Confirmed

A mere two and a half weeks before Chicagoans go to the polls to start early voting, and three weeks after its own deadline passed, the Board of Elections is still making rulings on which candidates' names will appear on the ballots in the upcoming City elections.

Thursday, the Board overruled the challenge to Michael Carroll's nominating petitions, so he'll be on the ballot in the 46th Ward.  In the 47th Ward, the challenge to Matt Reichel's nominating petitions was overruled earlier this week, so he'll be on the ballot.

Just one more decision to go as far as Uptown is concerned:  there's still a "recommendation pending" on one of the challenges to Caitlin McIntyre's petitions (another challenge was overruled earlier).
