"Ask Geoffrey" To Discuss Wilson Station's Past

A reader sends in the following info:
"I wanted to let you know about upcoming segment on Channel 11 about Uptown.

I was just informed today that the "Ask Geoffrey" segment on Chicago Tonight this Thursday, Jan. 13, will explore the history of the Frank Lloyd Wright building that stood at the corner of Broadway and Wilson (above) before the current train station structure was built. They will also talk about the history of the current train station. The "Ask Geoffrey" segments typically appear around 45 minutes past the hour. The show airs at 7 p.m. on Channel 11 and is repeated at 10 p.m. on WTTW Prime (11.2)."

    Thanks for posting this UU. The discussion about the Wilson Stop was pretty short, but interesting. The current "renovation" of the stop was mentioned (although we have yet to see any work) and it was also noted that there are no plans to replace the decorative paraphet wall at the corner entrance. Too bad.
