Did you know that Uptown is home to a concert band? Each Sunday evening, the Lakeside Pride Symphonic Band (www.lakesidepride.org) rehearses at the Preston Bradley Center on Lawrence Ave. On Saturday November 13 at 8 pm, they will hold their fall concert “Classical Masterpieces: from Dvorak to Wagner” in Anne and Howard Gottleib Hall at the Merit School of Music, 38 S. Peoria St. Tickets are available at the door for a $10 suggested donation.
