Please join your neighbors for an evening of Positive Loitering this Tuesday at 8-9 PM at the corner of Wilson Avenue and Magnolia. The event is sponsored by the Uptown Chicago Commission and all neighbors are encouraged to attend. Tasty treats for your four-legged friends have been graciously donated by our friends at Soggy Paws. Bring a friend, bring a dog, bring a friend's dog! Just come out and enjoy the summer evening!
Tuesday's gathering is being held in conjunction with National Night Out. Festivities for neighbors in the 23rd Police District are being held at Gill Park, located at 825 W. Sheridan, starting at 5:30 PM. There will be carnival games for kids, and a bike safety obstacle course. A free movie will begin at 7:45 PM. Popcorn and soda for all during the movie!
Festivities for neighbors in the 20th Police District (N of Lawrence Ave) will start at 6 PM for an Anti Violence Walk from McCutcheon School located at 4865 N Sheridan. Following the walk, join your neighbors for a cook-out at Buttercup Playlot, located at 4901 N Sheridan.
