Argyle Street Named Historic District

"Uptown's Argyle Street Named To Historic Register.  ... Most of the buildings in the district are not the work of famous architects, but are still examples of "solid, high-quality craftsmanship in traditional building materials such as brick, terra cotta, and limestone," the release said."

Read all about it at CBS2 hereTo the right, the building on the southeast corner of Kenmore and Argyle.

  1. Anyone spot the typo either from CBS or the original press release? "bounded by Sheridan Road on the east, Ainslie Street on the west, Broadway on the west, and Winona Street on the north"

  2. The Argyle I know is filthy and old. Nothing worth mention other than to suggest how to clean it up...
