Everyone is invited to join Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois in a walk June 26
that will benefit the food distribution program at the organization’s Chicago Uptown Ministry
location, 4720 N Sheridan. LCFS is taking part in this year’s Hunger Walk, a fundraiser sponsored by the Greater Chicago Food Depository to benefit 650 organizations across the community. Registration is at 8am at Soldier Field, with step-off at 9:30am.

. By making Hunger Walk donations and pledges on behalf of LCFS, people can help the agency’s food supply keep pace with the growing demand. LCFS provides food to more than 2,339 people a week, a 22 percent increase over last year.
