weather station wrote in with sad news:"I went to Pete's Weather today, like I do first thing every morning, and saw the following message: 'Petesweather.com is offline indefinitely because of a variety of circumstances. Thanks to everyone's support over the years.' I'll miss having a local source for an accurate temperature. Thank, Peter, for being there for so long!"
Here's wishing a speedy return of Pete's Weather, and if it's not to be, thanks for being Uptown's Tom Skilling. You'll be missed.
Actually I was running late this morning and didn't find out till tonight. I'm going to miss Petesweather.com

Bummer. I just used it last week when traveling during the snow storm to see how the weather was in Chicago. Thanks for years of great service, Pete.
