If you're not planning a trip to Paris this year, you can get the next best thing in Uptown next weekend. Lycée Français de Chicago is holding its three-day "Fall French Market" fundraiser on
October 16-18. The school, located at 613 West Bittersweet Place, will transform into a French marketplace with art, antiques, food, celebrity chef demos and even a kids pavilion so parents can shop child-free.
Proceeds go to help Lycée Français in its mission to provide a dual-language education focused on academic excellence. Read more about it
here.
Ok let me see.$13000 a year tuition. $40 to even get into the building. This is Uptown how?
ReplyDeleteWhatchoo talking about, Willis?
ReplyDeleteAdmission to the market is $5 per adult, children free, just like most block parties around here.
Not all of Uptown's schools are like Prologue. Thank goodness.
