Ald. Mary Ann Smith (48th Ward) just sent out an email newsletter, with these items of interest for Uptown:- Bike the Drive: Lake Shore Drive will be closed to automobile traffic on Sunday, May 24 from 5am until 10:30am for the annual Bike the Drive Event. The closure will extend from Bryn Mawr to 57th Street.

- City Sticker Sale: You can buy your Chicago Vehicle Stickers and residential parking permits at Alderman Smith's office, 5533 N. Broadway, on Thursday, June 4 from 10am to 5:30pm. You must be in line by 5:30pm to be served. The City Clerk's Office prefers payment by check or money order but will accept cash. Credit cards are not accepted.
