Eye In The Sky

Between police activity and Marine Week, Uptown's had its share of helicopters this month. Guess what -- there's at least one more that's going to be in the area. From Ald. Tom Tunney's latest email blast:

"On Monday, May 18th, television crews will filming scenes in and around Wrigley Field for the upcoming series “The Great American Road Trip” for NBC. Crews will also use a helicopter to film shots between 9:00am and 9:30am and 1:00pm and 1:30pm."

  2. And the helo that will be used to film is going to be that very one that was pictured in that thread about the 'police activity'.

  3. the great american road trip? i wonder if this has anything to do with Conan O'Brien. he is doing something about going from NY to CA for the Tonight Show and was already at Wrigley today.

  4. It must have some sort of tie-in with Old Route 66. I passed by Wrigley today while they were filming, and all of the vans parked there had a Route 66 logo.
