Talk And Photos Showing Dover Street Landmark District

If you're in the Loop, or can be, this Wednesday (October 8th), you may want to take advantage of a free noontime lecture about our own Dover Street Landmark District. From John Holden:

I wanted to let you know that I will be giving a (free) lunchtime lecture this Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. at the Chicago Architecture Foundation on the Dover Street Landmark District - it will largely be a slide show with a lots of photos of the great buildings on the street plus a talk on how and why we got a City landmark district on Dover. It should run about 45 minutes including time for Q&A. The lecture will be in the lecture room of the CAF which is just off the magnicent lobby of the Sante Fe Building at Michigan and Jackson. For those of you who are not familiar with CAF lectures, you can bring in your lunch with you and eat while you listen. Hope to see you there.
