A reader writes: "The old Pizza Factory/C.W. Napkin building has a sign on the window stating that it is going to become a small grocery/convenience store." Guess the
problems with the health department made it too difficult to reopen.
Update: A reader sent in the following postcard advertising that C.W. Napkin is still around and back after a "remodel." No word on whether or not it will share space with the upcoming grocery/convenience store.
I liked their food, but not so much the physical space.
ReplyDeleteI hate to see any Uptown biz fold, so I wish them well.
Same great life-threatening food poisoning!
ReplyDeleteUgh.
I was a steady customer until I found out where they were actually located. I always thought that place was a dive when I drove by. I don't care where they move at this point. I will order from another business. Food poisoning is food poisoning.
ReplyDeleteI walked by there the other day and I was amazed at how big that space is! When the pizza factory was there, it seemed tiny because of the walk-up counter. Whoever or whatever is moving in there, they will have a good-sized space with which to work.
