BPN General Meeting, October 13

FYI: The next BPN General Membership Meeting is coming up

Date: Monday, October 13, 2008 at 7pm

Location: Imperial Towers, 4250 N. Marine Drive.

I just posted that the next BPN General Meeting will take place on Monday, October 13th. Please see the announcement for the particulars. What I do want to draw your attention to is:

During the general meeting, BPN will hold its annual Board elections. We REALLY do need folks to step up and come on board the Board! So if you are a resident of the Buena Park Neighborhood, we could sure use your help planning and executing our projects. As of right now, there are only 5 of us, so.... PLEASE consider joining the Board. You will be working with a great bunch of folks! If you are interested, please contact us on our general email, or drop me a line at elf13@rcn.com.

Also we are collecting donated Halloween candy at the general meeting. In tandem with our Buena Park Neighbors Safe Trick or Treating, event we also put together about 150 CAPS bags with candy and tooth brushes. The bags are handed out first come/first serve by volunteers at Buena Circle Playlot the night of Halloween. If you can spare some candy, come on by, drop some off and learn more about Buena Park Neighbors.

Also, we are looking for safety monitors for the evening of Halloween from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. if you have an interest, please contact me on my email above. Spanish speakers are really really welcome!
