Show Your Support For Uptown Businesses

You still have time to buy your wristband for the "Experience Uptown" walkfest on September 12,13, and 14. For $10 (the cost of a wristband) you can get amazing discounts at all of your favorite Uptown locales, including "Sheridan Park Food & Liquor" and "Magnolia Cafe." Stop by Unique So Chique, The Spot, or Marigold to purchase your wristband. You can also purchase via PayPal at the Wilson Area Merchants Assocation website here. Show your support for Uptown businesses! Oh, and while we are at it, a little birdie tells us to expect new menu items at Magnolia Cafe at Wilson and Magnolia, as well as lower priced items. Stop by businesses on Wilson and show your support. They will appreciate it!

    Additionally, you can click on the little thumbnail poster at the top of the UU page on the right side of the page. That will take you to a post with the discounts listed. Click on the discount card to make it readable.

    I've also noticed participating stores have postcards advertising the discounts. I got mine at Three Harmony, and I hear they're at Starbucks as well.
