Buena Pumpkin Neighbors, October 31

BUENA PARK NEIGHBORS (BPN) is pleased to announce the ELEVENTH ANNUAL BUENA PUMPKIN NEIGHBORS. Monitored HALLOWEEN TRICK-OR-TREATING will take place in Buena Park on, Friday, October 31, 2008, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Kenmore Avenue between Irving Park Road (4000) and Montrose Avenue (4400), including the 1000 block of West Buena. Additionally, actors from National Pastime Theatre (4139 N. Broadway) will “haunt” Buena Circle Play lot. The 17 year old National Pastime Theater, 4139 N. Broadway, Chicago, is noted for being a haunted former speakeasy and is on the Chicago Ghost Investigators tour.

A lot of city kids prefer coming up to the southeast quadrant of Evanston (north of Main St., east of Chicago Ave., and south of Davis St.) There are a lot of big welcoming homes and lots of parents and a noticeable police presence to keep things nice for smaller kids. If you have young children and have always wanted a scenic and mellow place to Trick or Treat, this is a good area to do it!

    It's nice to see your passive aggressive points posted.

    Actually the BPN Halloween festivities are quite nice. Perhaps if you lived here you would know that. Oops, did I slip into passive aggression?

    Of course now you can make a point about how you miss the old Wilson Avenue and how it used to be like Halloween there every night.

    Oh well.
