Who Says The Alderman's Office Doesn't Inform Its Residents?

From a rare 46th Ward email blast:

"Tonight's movie at Cricket Hill Cinema is canceled due to rain. Ferris Bueller's Day Off will be rescheduled for Thursday, August 28th.

Join us next Thursday, July 17th at sundown for Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?

Cricket Hill Cinema occurs each Thursday evening at dusk through August 28th on the east slope of the toboggan hill, north of Montrose Harbor."

  4. I wish their was this much transparency when it came to the real issues.

I mean anyone with half a brain would have realized that no movie would be played outside during severe thunderstorms.

  6. Although it is always nice to hear from the 46th ward office and it was responsible to do so if the movie was being cancelled. What about the shootings and murder across the street from the office? Is that really less important than a movie being cancelled? Funny how conversation only comes from the ward office when there is no chance taxpayers will disagree. Otherwise the alderman "needs to be protected" by her staff
