Who's organizing this? I'd like to donate but I'm going out of town Thursday so I can't make it to event. Can I mail or drop off a check or cash somewhere?
WOW I think its a great idea as I live right across the street. I would also like the park cleaned up of all the gangs and punks that use the park as a hang-out. Specially toward the north end.........
I am a dog owner and do not like this idea. I would rather have the park open as is, so that my dog can run around in the grass, in a small crowded concrete park. There are parks at Montrose beach, Lawrence and Challenger Park, so I don't think we need another one. Although, I will reconsider if they tear down that abondoned hospital, where the bums BBQ and go to the bathroom.
