I have a question. Do you want this to be an informative website to bring the neighborhood together? Or a source for your never ending sarcasm? Which is on EVERY post. Ok, the letters blew off of the Riviera. It was very very windy the other day, right?
The fences came off along the Broadway-Leland building( at least no gang-bangers put names on the concrete).
The green meshing along Wilson-Yard is falling off and the fences are down. We just had over 60+ mile an hour winds.
Look how nice the Wilson-El stop is....The guy warming up inside seems to like it too.
Almost everyone of your headings end in sarcasm. I am not trying to rip on you. I love your website. I have just been noticing lately, how they almost all end in negative sarcasm. That is not going to help anything. Remember divide and conquer. Unite and win. Please just take what I am saying as helpful rather than critical.
my goodness, some of you need to polarize everything. What, you can live with the fact that Uptown Update took notice of a factual thing in our neighborhood and posted a picture of it? Get thicker skin. My hats off to you, Uptown Update. I think your blog has been by far one of the top 5 most positive developments in Uptown in 2007. Keep up the good work.
Ah Bah Humbug. It's Christmas folks. Or Kwanza, or Happy Holidays or whatever "diverse" Uptown holiday you celebrate. Give the micro nitpicking a rest. Have a heartfelt Happy day and even better New Year from my family to yours.
