  1. For the next couple of months the "Broken Heart' is expanding operations to enable the Uptown and Edgewater readers a chance to keep up with the 7th district state senate race.

  2. I'm sure our readers will enjoy following that race Craig. Thanks for your coverage. We also remind our readers that a link to "Broken Heart" is under the "Useful Links" section.

  3. I saw this in the Godfather trilogy.

Uptown Updater will soon sleep with the fishes and in retaliation a mounted policeman riding a Llama from Lincoln Park Zoo will attempt a "hit" on Craig.

It all promises to be very nasty.

  4. what do any of those comments have to do with the picture?

  5. No one was commenting on the picture for a entire day. Maybe you should've started a comment within the first 24 hours instead on commenting on the comments after the fact.

  6. Not a pretty picture. What does make that part of Wilson nicer is the new CTA farecard machine at the South entrance/exit to the el.

  9. Francis- I was just curious why those comments, which had nothing to do with pretty much anything, found their way onto this post. Being the person who took the picture I think I have a right to question.

Anonymous- However I did not post this so I wasn't aware of it till 24 hours after so comments on comments was all I had as an option. I just kind of figured people would comment on the picture not make random conversation.

Bluestreak - thanks for the critique.

  11. Sol,

Their comments had nothing to do with your beautiful photo and your photo was quite indeed beautiful.

It was a GREAT photo and thank you for taking it and for it being posted.

Just ignore the "usual suspects" on the Uptown boards as they all seem to have one track dicks.

    John

  12. We need more simplistic photo's, paintings, whatever of our neighborhoods. It's lovely. Keep it up! It's about pride in where one lives that counts. Thanks.
