  1. Now we just need a 'Target - Coming Soon' sign!

  2. We think "Target Coming Soon, To Hell With Them" has a nice ring to it.

  3. It's the best way to welcome them really.

  4. Great I have been needing a Bank Of America ATM in the area ever since they started the construction at the Wilson El Stop.

  5. well...normally I abhor branch banks given that they essentially form dead zones in neighborhoods after business hours, however, in our neighborhood, I'm all for it over the alternative...

  6. Bank of America may quite possible be one of the worst in the nation.

  7. If they're providing money or support for this restoration, I'd glady take another dull bank branch.

  8. The restoration would not have happened without BoA; they were insistent on a full restoration.

Also, banks are important to improving neighborhoods; their familiarity and stability create economic zones around them. They're usually the first things to return to a depressed area. Boring, yes, but necessary.

True - even at night, they are seen as a safe zone, because they are well-lit and have security cameras.

  10. KUZ,

I couldn't agree more. I feel so safe at night on the corner of Wilson and Broadway. Thank God the Harris Bank is there. Could you imagine what that corner would be like if it weren't there? Oh, wait....

  11. Numberous banks are a sign of a poor neighborhood. What was the name of the beauty school that was there before? Does anyone have any history on it?
