Word on the street is Uptown residents are having trouble getting straight answers when it comes to the progress, or lack thereof, on the "Wilson Yard" project. Our "powers that be" in the 46
th Ward are not wanting to answer their questions and are referring to residents who challenge or question anything going on in our ward as "bad apples." The project is now definitely behind schedule,
no confirmation has been received from Target Corporation on a store even planned for the spot, and our
neighborhood homeless are now calling the unsecure site "home." What can be done? Give the 46
th Ward office a
ringy-dingy at 773-878-4646 and see what kind of answers you can get.
