There will be a community meeting for those interested in the status of the "Theatre District Lofts Phase 2 and 3" development on August 9 at 7:00pm in the Aragon Ballroom at Lawrence and Winthrop. Jim Gouskos, developer, is hosting the meeting along with others involved in the project. Phase 2 consists of the condominium tower located south of Phase 1. The movie theatre/retail section (currently the site of the Aragon parking lot) located at Lawrence and Winthrop is Phase 3.Mr. Gouskos has made complimentary parking available for those attending the meeting in the lot across from the Aragon. Plans and updated renderings will be available at the meeting.
This project will be good for the neighborhood.

ReplyDeleteAll the more important now that word is getting out that this isn't just about the condo building set for behind the Chase building but also the parking lot across the street. Uptown updater, this deserves a refresh over the next couple of days to remind people. A 9-screen movie theater will be a major change to that location and the community needs to be at this meeting to know what's going on.
