If you frequent Chase Park, you may have noticed the former church parking lot at the southeast corner of Ashland and Leland has been car-free for a little while now. That got our antenna up, and a new building permit issued yesterday confirmed the long-rumored and planned development at the parking lot, known officially as 4641 N. Ashland, is ready to put shovels in the ground.

More density is a great thing for the area, and more units to add to the Clark Street boom.
With the permit issued, expect construction soon.
