Chicago Marathon To Affect Lakefront Traffic on Sunday

The 2022 Chicago Marathon route doesn't come through Uptown, but it will be as close as a block away in Lake View. 

If you're a Sunday morning traveler, expect traffic on the roadways between here and downtown (and sections south) to be affected. It's a good time to take the L or wait until early afternoon, if you're able.

It's going to be a good day for the runners, in the high 50s and low 60s. Expect a speedy race.
