If you're going to the beach today, be aware of the dangerous conditions.
The National Weather Service says Lake Michigan will see high wave action and dangerous currents. Waves are expected to be four to six feet high, and "swimming conditions will be life-threatening."
It further warns, "Do not venture out onto piers, jetties, breakwalls or other shoreline structures."
