12 Story Residential Proposed For Weiss Hospital Parking Lot

Looking NW from Wilson & Marine (Valerio Dewalt Train Associates)

Alderman Cappleman's development page was just updated with the following proposal:

Lincoln Property Company is proposing to develop the parking lot south of Weiss Hospital with a new 12 story, 314 unit, rental residential building. This proposal requires an amendment to subarea A-1 in the current PD 37. The proposed building has a total height of 159 feet and includes 136 on-site parking spaces.

Additionally, to adhere to the Affordable Requirement Ordinance, the developer will have 8 affordable units onsite (2.5%) and will partner with local non-profit, Sarah’s Circle, to provide an in lieu payment for the additional 7.5% of the affordable requirement to support a new affordable housing project a few blocks away.

Full details of the proposal can be viewed here.

UU Note: This project will go before the 46th Ward Zoning & Development Committee.
