Pulaski Day Is Monday

Following the state holiday honoring Lincoln and the federal holiday honoring U.S. Presidents comes the City of Chicago/Cook County holiday honoring Casimir Pulaski.

• Don't expect city or county offices to be open, from City Hall to aldermanic offices to Cook County Treasurer.
• City trucks will not pick up residential garbage today.
• Chicago Public Schools are open.
• Chicago Public Libraries are closed.
• County courts will be closed except for Bond Court.
• Most banks will be open.
• State and federal offices will be open.
