Job & Resource Fair For Ages 14-24 On Saturday

From Ald. Osterman:

"This Saturday, my office is hosting a job and resource fair for youth aged 14-24, featuring more than 30 employment partners and resource providers.

48th Ward Youth Job & Resource Fair
Saturday, April 13, 10am - 1pm
Broadway Armory, 5917 N. Broadway

Participating employers and resource providers represent industries including healthcare, retail, senior care, arts, and more. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to receive resume help and practice interview skills.  Please encourage anyone you know in this age range to attend the event -- we welcome youth from across the region to learn about available opportunities!

Connecting youth to positive opportunities has always been a top priority for me. Youth employment is an important way to empower young people in the community and help them grow as future leaders.

Thank you to our planning partners who made this event possible: Andersonville Chamber of Comerce, Edgewater Chamber of Commerce, Edgewater Development Corporation, Uptown United & Business Partners - the Chamber for Uptown, Evanston Youth Job Center, and the Northside American Job Center/Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership.

Please contact my office with questions about the event."
