And The Vote-By-Mail Totals Get Added ...

The Chicago Board of Elections has updated its website after adding the vote-by-mail ballots to the totals on Friday. They don't seem to have moved the needle significantly in the three Uptown aldermanic races.

The Board has until March 12th to certify the vote totals. Given that the mail-in votes didn't affect the percentages very much, it's a pretty sure bet that we'll see the names highlighted in blue below on the ballot in the runoff election on April 2nd, along with the two mayoral candidates and two city treasurer candidates (one of whom is current 47th Ward alderman Ameya Pawar).

We'll update soon with info on how to request a mail-in ballot for the run-off election, how and where to early vote, etc., but for a couple of days, we'd like to take a break from elections. Catch you up soon.
