Now that tax season is over, you may have lots of papers with sensitive information to dispose of. Here are two ways to do it, confidentially and free, in the community:
- There will be a paper shredding event at the 46th Ward Office on Friday between 2:30pm and 4:30pm. A truck will be parked in front of 4544 North Broadway and will shred papers on the spot. (There will be an electronics recycling/paper shredding event later this summer on a Saturday.)
- Staples will shred up to a pound of paper for free between now and April 21st. Get your coupon here. (The coupon code is 45797.)
