Uptown Resident Uses Her Love Of Theater To Deal With Her Mother's Cancer

The Chicago Academy for the Arts has a great profile on an Uptown resident named Piper Kilman, in her junior year at the academy. Piper's mother Aimee is battling cancer and as a show of solidarity, she shaved her head as her mother lost her own hair. Kilman is also using her love of theater to deal with the heartache of watching someone she loves battle cancer.
