When you think of Argyle Street, chances are that Louisiana-style cuisine isn't the first thing that comes to mind. But a new restaurant wants to change that.
New Orleans Seafood opened its doors last week in a soft opening. Its Grand Opening takes place on Friday, September 1st. It specializes in fresh seafood, served up New Orleans-style, priced according to the market price each day. If you want some spirits with your meal, it's a BYOB restaurant, so having Foremost Liquors next door is handy, indeed.
New Orleans Seafood is located at 1046½ West Argyle, between La Patisserie P and Foremost Liquors (between Kenmore and Winthrop). Hours are 3pm-10pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 11am-10pm on Sunday and Monday. They are closed on Wednesdays.
