"Pivot Arts is thrilled to announce that the more than $82 million awarded for arts projects nationwide in the National Endowment for The Arts’ second round for FY17 includes a $12,000 Art Works grant awarded to Pivot Arts.
The grant will go towards funding a fall performance that takes place in the form of a site-specific tour in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood and highlights the stories of diverse residents. Pivot Arts was recognized for its multidisciplinary focus and the project will include artists from several performance disciplines. Devon de Mayo, a director who focuses on devised works, will direct."
