When high-rises are built, the core elements (elevators, elevators, etc.) go up first. The rest of the building is built around them. If you look in the right-hand side of this photo, taken today, you will see the elevator shaft being built at the future site of 811 Uptown on the former Maryville site. Definite progress is being made!
