If you're interested in learning more about the Uptown Theater and what may happen in its future, there are a several different opportunities available:
  • Today at 12:15pm, Friends of the Uptown's Andy Pierce will be giving a "lunchtime lecture" at the Chicago Architecture Foundation, 224 South Michigan Avenue. It's $5 for the general public and free for CAF members. Reservations are required. More about it here.
  • If you'd missed Nick Digilio's show on WGN radio last week, and would like to hear about "The Past, Present and Future of The Uptown Theatre," the podcast is live and is located here. It runs about a half hour.
  • There is a short aerial video of the Uptown and the surrounding area, filmed from a drone, here.
